In Oct, Coast Ghost Paranormal investigated Winchester Bay Community Center. A great example of a re-purposed school - #143 historic 1910. Now it is host to lots of fun activities like the Old Time Fiddlers. The caretaker is Peggy Fleury.
Our investigation found 3 spirits inside: a 1st gr teacher from 1940 near the stage and the STRONG PRESENCE of the fire chief who helped save the place by the front door. Lots of residual activity, not unusual for a busy old school
In back, in the new playground, we met Native American children, and especially one little toddler in the kiosk. This is common here on the coast, most of them died of 'white men's diseases', as did these little ones.
All in all, a productive evening.
