Mid-Century Magic

We got a call last week from a real dynamo neighorhood activitist who is determined to protect her Mid-Century Modern community and its quality of life. Darla Castangna gave me quite an education on the Oak Hills Neighborhood in Beaverton. Go Green 10 Conference

The Go Green 10 Conference was last week and I was on the panel for the "Oregon State Communities: Economic Development Strategies Around Sustainability" breakout session. I presented Columbia Pacific Preservation's efforts at creating an economic cluster based on historic preservation and also Clatsop Community College's Historic Preservation Program, which is part of that effort.
