COAST GHOST PRS investigated the Coquille Broiler/ FM Bank

Because the Coquille Broiler is open every day, the COAST GHOST Paranormal Research team had to go in on their least busy night, a Sunday - December 18, 2011. We almost never investigate on a Sun night. The Coquille Broiler was originally a bank, the Farmers Mercantile, built in 1910. During WWII it served as a  hospital, the one basement as a morgue. The hospital moved to another location and the ground floor was divided into 3 sections, as was the basement. One section became the Bird Cage…See More

Investigation of Historic Winnie Bay Primary School

In Oct, Coast Ghost Paranormal investigated Winchester Bay Community Center. A great example of a re-purposed school - #143 historic 1910. Now it is host to lots of fun activities like the Old Time Fiddlers. The caretaker is Peggy Fleury. Our investigation found 3 spirits inside: a 1st gr teacher from 1940 near the stage and the STRONG PRESENCE of the fire chief who helped save the place by the front door. Lots of residual activity, not unusual for a busy old schoolIn back, in the…See More

Touring the Cottage Grove Armory --- brrrrr

Christie, Ann and Denise, members of HPLO, were given a tour of the Cottage Grove Armory by none other than the Cottage Grove City Manager, Richard Meyers.  We considered it quite a privilege.  This is the first time the COAST GHOST team has explored an historic place wearing its HPLO 'hat'.It was cold. There is no heat in the vast building yet. And huge - 32,000 sq ft. The Armory was built in 1931 with monies from both the federal government and a substantial contribution from the CG…See More
